Hi, and welcome to the wonderful world of Zelda Classic!
Included is all of the data necessary to play ZC, as
well as a quest of my own, Miriam Is Missing. This took
me about a year to do, so please try it out.

	To play ZC:
	1. Unzip this folder if you haven't already.
	2. Right click "zelda-w" and drag it to the desktop
(that's the area outside all the windows). When the
menu opens, click "create shortcut here". I suggest
you name the shortcut "ZC 2.10", but that's up to you.
	3. Right click the shortcut and go to Properties. Click
the Shortcut tab and, under Target, ADD this to the
existing text: -res 512 448 big -windowed.
	4. Now double-click the shortcut. When the Armageddon
logo appears, press Enter. When the Zelda logo appears,
press Enter.
	5. Go down to REGISTER YOUR NAME and press Enter. Type
your name and press Enter again. You have just created a
file. NOTE: Enter anything for 1st quest. Enter ZELDA as
your name for 2nd quest(Hard Mode). Enter ALPHA as your
name for 3rd Quest(Super Hard).
	6. To play your file, use the arrow keys to select it and
press Enter. The controls are:
Left Alt: Sword (If you have one)
	Left Ctrl: Assigned Item
Z and X: Cycle through the available B-button items.
Enter: Brings up the Subscreen. Press again to exit.
Arrow Keys: Move Link or select an item on Subscreen.
Spacebar: On Miriam Is Missing, brings up the Overworld
Map. Press Enter to exit, Alt to zoom in, Ctrl to zoom out.
Esc: Brings up ZC Menu. Use the mouse to navigate.
F3: Pause. Press again to unpause.
F6: Quit. Also press if you want to save.

	To play Miriam Is Missing:
	1. Start a new file.
	2. Select the file with the arrow keys and press Alt twice.
Click the Browse button.
	3. Select Miriam.qst from the menu and hit OK. Hit OK again
and the icon should change to Zelda in a green dress. Now enjoy!

Silly Cat 2's Tips
1.Zelda Falls
Try walking into the waterfall.
When you get a blue candle, try burning some bushes.

2. Zelda Falls Palace
Hit a statue with your sword or something.
When in doubt, kill all enemies. If you can't reach them all, leave
the room and come back.
When in doubt, try to push some of the blocks.
To kill the knight, either stand perpendicular to him and use the
sword, or just drop a bomb in front of him.
Hold Alt to speed up Zelda's text. She's famous for talking forever.
The dragon is vulnerable to arrows. 3 should do the trick. Remember
to go downstairs.

3. West Hyrule Field
Burn that bush on the first screen.
If you see a stone wall with rubble in front of it, bomb it.
That statue won't react to a sword beam or arrow. Try another item.
You may want to pay the lady 15 rupees before you leave. Level 4
is well hidden.

4. Ancient Tree
If all is dark, use a light.
Remember to kill enemies and push blocks.
Out of pink bombs? Dodongos will also die after 2 normal bombs.
What? The boss didn't leave a Heart Container? That probably
wasn't the boss then. Walk through a wall or something.

5. Split Temple
Blow up every block and wall.
Gels and bats are vulnerable to the boomerang.
Blow up the plant thing at the end.

6. Lost Woods
Stuck with the maze? Go up a screen, down a screen, right two
screens. It's a dead end until Level 4, though.

7. Lost Woods Temple
Try to beat the red knights in that one room. Their sword is
well worth it.
Blocks on sand may trigger something.
They're not moving in the right direction? Try pushing another
one onto that tile.
Your blue candle isn't hot enough to burn those bushes, so don't
try.
The room above the one with the tricky puzzle seems to go on
forever, doesn't it? Try the shortest path to the room above you.
Hit the dragon's heads with your sword or a sword beam.

8. Lake Hylia
You can find a Heart Container inside a nearby cave.
The silent old lady is an apothecary. You need a permit to buy her
potions.
Can't figure out where to play your flute? This is a reference to
Zelda 2. Try standing on the sand and playing.

9. Submerged Ruins
Hit statues with items they relate to. Knights carry their swords,
Octoroks shoot projectiles.
I put in those two potions so you could use them in the room with
ten knights. All they do is refill hearts and magic.
Can't cross the water? Out of room to move? Play the flute!
An arrow to the eye will kill the big spider.

10. Dark Army Camp
Those sets of stairs all lead to identical rooms. Just so you know.
Again, hit statues with related items. You may need a mirror.

11. Dark Army Fort
This level is a step up from previous levels. I suggest you go back
to the apothecary if you don't already have a red potion.
Don't give up. That brown knight will die eventually.

12. Gladiator's Grave
Push a certain grave to reveal a magic upgrade. If ghosts keep
coming out, you've got the wrong one.

13. Shadow Temple
Before you go to the next set of rooms, look for a magic book
and a key.
Want a stronger sword? Take the passage from the dark room
and walk through the east wall.
What's that statue doing all the way up there? Hit it with
something to trigger it.
Can't figure out how to get the boss key? Try out your brand
new flippers on the waterfall.
Yes, you can kill a ghost. Just these ones, though.

14. Castle Courtyard
Who's the wise guy who planted bushes on the path? Burn, baby,
burn!

15. Hyrule Castle.
Look at your map and figure out for yourself how to get into the
other mapped room.

16. Hyrule Castle Basement
Try hitting statues with a boomerang or arrow.
B3F is a dangerous maze. You may want to bring a red potion.
Lots of snakes for a miniboss! Hit them wherever.
Push a few blocks or something in B5F to make a chain appear.
That bug thing is called a Patra. Use your sword to destroy the
circle of mini-Patras, then kill the big one.

17. Fire Temple
Some of the lava really isn't lava.
Goriya statues not reacting? Try a stronger boomerang.
This is the Fire Temple, try burning those bushes!
